Bogdanka signed an agreement for preparation of designs and construction of a tower for coal pit 2.1 and a shaft top building along with remaining facilities, including winch foundations, friction lift foundations, an air trunk, roads, yards, tracks and area lightening in the Stefanów Field.
The investment will be carried out by Przedsiębiorstwo Montażu Konstrukcji Stalowych i Urządzeń Górniczych Pemug S.A. in Katowice. The agreement was concluded on 26 January 2010. The agreement value amounts to PLN 34.4 million net.
Pemug S.A. is a leader of a consortium in this undertaking, formed also by KPBP BUDUS from Katowice. The consortium won the tender for the investment offering the best price.
The parties agreed the time limit for the performance of the investment to be 12 months from the day of signing the agreement, not later however than by 31 January 2011.
