X 2004	Achievement of monthly progress of 635 m in the drilling of subwall gallery on the longwall 11/II in coal bed 382 (ŁPZS/C V-36/10 open lining; 6.0m wide and 4.5m high with door spacing of 0,9 m).
XI 2004	Referendum among the staff concerning the mine privatisation in connection with the plan proposed by the Ministry of State Treasury associated with handover of the shares of „Bogdanka” to „Kozienice” Power Plant.
XII 2004	St. Barbara Day celebration in Bogdanka attended by the Minister of State Treasury Mr. J. Socha who declared the mine privatisation in coordination with the miners, trade unions and management as the reply to intended merger of „Bogdankai” with „Kozienice” Power Plant.
III 2005	The title „The Best Mine of the Year” awarded for the sixth time and the second place in the ranking “Safe Mine” awarded for the results achieved in the year 2004 in competitions organized by Szkoła Eksploatacji Podziemnej (Underground Exploitation School) and Górnicza Izba Przemysłowo-Handlowa (Mining Industry and Trade Chamber).
IV 2005	Achievement of monthly progress of 814 m in the drilling of return airway on the longwall 11/II in coal bed 382 by GRP-1 department (lining as described above)
VI 2005	The Mining Workshop – 2005” in Kazimierz Dolny in connection with the session entitled “Sustainable Development of the mining area of Lubelski Węgiel „Bogdanka” S.A. – 30th Anniversary of LZW – 9th edition of conference arranged by Instytut Gospodarki Surowcam Raw Materials Management Institute in PAN, under the patronage of WUG President.
VI 2005	The unblocking of the pit shaft No 2.2 in Stefanów completed and its bottom achieved by work teams employed by PBSz and PRS „Wschód”.
IX 2005	The integration of the pit shaft 2.2 with the shaft bottom excavations on the level of 990 m.
IX 2005	Achievement of record – breaking daily output of the mine in amount of 27.250 tons per 24h on 19th September.
XII 2005	The commissioning of the first longwall in field IV, in the coal bed 385/2 equipped with the new mechanization complex with the new lining Glinik-12/27 Poz. including mining shearer as well as face conveyor and subwall conveyor supplied by JOY.
V 2008	Visit of Polish Prime Minister – Mr. Donald Tusk in Stefanów.
VI 2008	The commissioning of the pit shaft No 2.2 has been celebrated in Stefanów. The investment was opened by the Minister of Treasure – Mr. Aleksander Grad. The construction of the pit shaft in Stefanów has been commenced in early 80s. The project implementation has been interrupted in the year 1988 as a result of economic reasons and the pit shaft was filled with water for the next period of 15 years. The investment has been restarted in the year 1999. Thanks to the efforts made by our mine, Stefanów mine – field will make it possible to significantly increase our coal output early in the next decade.
XI 2008	Lubelski Węgiel „Bogdanka” S.A., submitted the issue prospectus to the Polish Financial Supervision Commission (KNF).. The purpose of the entry into the stock exchange is to obtain the funds for the modernization of existing technical infrastructure and creation of the new one in the framework of Stefanów Field in order to increase the coal output by 100% since 2014.
XII 2008	BARBÓRKA 2008 – St. Barbara Miners” Day celebration in new dimension – the first time St. Barbara Miners” Day was celebrated in three locations i.e. in St. Maria Magdalena Church in Łęczna, in the Pithead Building in Bogdanka and in Philharmonic Society in Lublin.
