The shares of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. have been qualified by the Warsaw Stock Exchange for the mWIG40 index. A stock exchange press release on this matter was published on September 13, 2009. The first quotations of Bogdanka’s shares in the mWIG40 will occur at the next session after September 18, 2009.

The mWIG40 index consists of a fixed number of companies (40) which are the next largest in terms of capitalisation and turnover after the first 20 companies in the WIG20 index.

The composition of individual indices is adjusted and companies are qualified for them every quarter on the basis of the same ranking. The basic criterion is turnover for the last 12 months and the capitalisation of the Company, which in Bogdanka’s case has now exceeded PLN 2.3 bln.
