As of 11th October 2010, a new retail price list regarding Bogdanka’s coal has been applied. The change is a result of growing prices of hard coal on global markets.
However, despite a slight increase, the prices of Bogdanka’s coal continue to be competitive towards the coal from Silesian mines.

The approaching summer is for many people a period of relax and well-deserved holidays.
In order to adjust the hours of sale of coal to a lower number of customers arriving to collect coal in that period, Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. has changed in June the opening hours of cash desk and sale points.

For convenience of our customers and for all visitors of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A., a new system of signing the plant’s area has been put in service. The system was designed in cooperation with an outsourced company offering such solutions; the company also prepared and installed the signs and marks.
The assumptions for the new system included clarity, complexity and correspondence to the existing corporate identification guidelines.

We inform you that, in addition to information on sales of hard coal and other products, material information on tenders organised by the Company as part of its development strategy, is also available in the Trade Service tab. At the moment, key tenders for further development of the Company are as follows: tender for extension of the Mechanical Coal Processing Plant and for construction of a shaft top building and hoist tower for shaft 2.1 in the Stefanów Field.

We wish to inform you that sale prices of hard coal supplied by Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. will be changed on 1st August 2009.
Change of prices encompasses pea and nut coal, therefore the net prices of hard coal supplied by Bogdanka are changed since 1st August 2009 to the following level:• 255 PLN/ ton - MIIA in class 20/25/12;
• 280 PLN/ ton - MIIA in class 22/18/12;
• 340 PLN/ ton - pea in class 27/07/12;
• 360 PLN/ ton - nut in class 27/08/12.

Changed retail price list effective as at 20.04.2009

We wish to inform you that sale prices of hard coal supplied by Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka S.A. will be changed on 20th April 2009.
Postseasonal change of prices encompasses all coal grades; therefore the net prices of hard coal supplied by Bogdanka are reduced since 20th April 2009 to the following level:
• 255 PLN/ ton - MIIA in class 20/25/12;
• 280 PLN/ ton - MIIA in class 22/18/12;
• 310 PLN/ ton - pea in class 27/07/12;
• 330 PLN/ ton - nut in class 27/08/12.

You can transfer the prepayments for coal again

We have the pleasure to inform that the possibility to transfer the prepayments for coal has been restored since 02.02.2009.
Since mid September 2008 - owing to long queues of the clients awaiting for our coal – we have introduced some necessary limitation, among others we have suspended the prepayments for coal.
Restoring this form of payment, we inform simultaneously that the payments can be transferred to the following number of account:
PKO BP S.A. 32 1020 3206 0000 8802 0004 7225 entering the following phrase in the title of transfer: „prepayment for coal”.
Then the receipt of transfer should be sent to the fax number +48 81 462 56 37 simultaneously giving a contact phone number
When your transfer is entered into books, the possibility of receipt of purchased coal will be confirmed by the employee of the Coal Sales Department by phone.
We would like to remind to all those who prefer to pay in cash at the site, that the payments can be made in our cashier desks between 6.00 and 13.30 from Monday to Friday.

EXCLUSIVELY with cash payment
(payment in cashier desk within office hours of the cashier desks).
Please do not transfer any prepayments for coal. Since 22 September 2008 until further notice the coal sales for retail recipients (nut coal, pea coal and fine coal) will be carried out since 6.00 up to 13.30.
We would like to apologize for any problems and limitations in sales.
ISO certificates for Bogdanka

Since 2003 Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka" S.A. is the holder of the Integrated Environment Management System certificate in accordance with ISO 14001:1996, and of the Integrated Quality Management System certificate in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 since 2006.
Aforesaid certificates are issued in order to confirm that every phase of production and every process carried out with the participation of Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka' S.A. is subjected to the continuous and diligent supervision of specialized staff. These certificates have been granted also with the consideration of the fact that the mine in Bogdanka knows how to manage its resources in a professional manner and to protect the beauty of surrounding nature simultaneously.
Aforesaid certificates are issued in order to confirm that every phase of production and every process carried out with the participation of Lubelski Węgiel "Bogdanka' S.A. is subjected to the continuous and diligent supervision of specialized staff. Research Laboratory Accreditation Certificate for Bogdanka

We have the pleasure to inform that the Work Environment Laboratory functioning in the structures of the Company Lubelski Węgiel „BOGDANKA” S.A. met the requirements included in the standard PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 as at 22.04.2008 and on 23.04.2008 obtained the Accreditation Certificate No AB 895 encompassing the following fields of activity:
- drawing the dust samples for testing,
- execution of research in the scope of noise and vibration measurement,
- determination of inhalable and respirable dustiness
- determination of free crystalline silica contents in dusts.
