III 2002Establishing of the company Korporacja Gwarecka „Bogdanka” S.A. by almost 3000 employees of the mine Lubelski Węgiel „Bogdanka” S.A.
 IV 2002Intensified pressures in the gallery of the longwall 4/V in the bed 385/2, G-2 department caused quick clamping of the gallery. Therefore it was extremely difficult to maintain aforesaid gallery in the front of the longwall face and consequential reconstruction encompassing about 2km of this gallery was required.
 V 2002The completion of overhaul and modernization of the building incorporating the bath and commencement of the works in the pithead building in Bogdanka..

The announcement of the invitation for negotiations on purchase of 10-81,6 % of Lubelski Węgiel „Bogdanka” S.A. shares by the Minister of State Treasury.
 VI 2002The commissioning of the longwall 10/I in coal bed 382 (G-3 department) equipped with highly efficient mechanization complex with the new lining Glinik as well as with JOY mining system and push – plate conveyors.

Twenty years of coal output in „Bogdanka” mine – Anniversary Conference arranged in Nałęczów  to celebrate 20th anniversary of commissioning of the first longwall.
 XII 2002Annual BARBÓRKA Academy  – St. Barbara Miners” Day celebration in Bogdanka in newly overhauled and modernized Pithead Building and blessed by His Excellency Archbishop of Lublin – Rev. Józef Życiński.

XI 2003Annulment of privatisation procedure by the Minister of State Treasury.
 II 2004The establishment of the investment plan consisting in the extension of output capability of the mine by the construction of the third mining field  „Stefanów” with use of the pit shafts No 2.1 and 2.2 existing in the mine K-2 in Stefanów under construction suspended in 1988.
 IV 2004Lubelski Węgiel „Bogdanka” S.A. awarded the title of „Lubelski Orzeł Biznesu – pracodawca roku” (Eagle of Business in Lublin – the Employer of Year) from . Związek Pracodawców Lubelszczyzny (Association of Employers in Lubelski Region).
 IV 2004The previous President, D. A. Sc. Stanisław Stachowicz elected in direct election to the post of the Member of Management as the Member being elected by the employees.
 VIII 2004The completion of modernization of mining hoist in the pit shaft No 1.4 in Nadrybie combined with the pit shaft deepening in order to enable the transportation of materials to the level of 960 m.
 IX 2004The commencement of the works in the pit shaft No 2.2. associated with its dewatering and unblocking after 15 years elapsed after its flooding, by the Consortium established by Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Szybów w Bytomiu and Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Specjalistycznych „Wschód” w Lublinie.
